How do I apply to your program?
We accept applications only through ERAS. Visit http://www.aamc.org/students/eras/start.htm.
How many residents do you accept to your program each year?
There are 12 residents per postgraduate year level.
Do you accept international medical graduates?
International medical graduates are accepted into our Internal Medicine program.
Do you sponsor visas?
Both H-1 and J-1 visas are sponsored. Applicants must be eligible for the visa they desire (e.g., USMLE Step 3 result for H-1B visa) at the time the NRMP Rank Order List is submitted. To date, our program has maintained an exempt status for the cap on H-1B visas.
Is there a cutoff for graduation?
There is no cutoff date for graduation. However, an applicant's experience since graduation will be carefully reviewed.
Do you require U.S. clinical experience?
Although not an absolute requirement, U.S. clinical experience will help strengthen a candidate's application. U.S. research experience is given due consideration and may also enhance an application.
Do you have a cutoff for USMLE scores?
The applications of candidates with USMLE scores above 80 will be given preference.
What is the board passing rate?
The average board pass rate for the past three years is 90 percent.
Do you give pre-Match offers?
Limited numbers of pre-Match contracts may be offered for selected candidates.
